Hi everyone! Well another day, another dollar...NOT! I'm sharing my all day project here~~It's a Sarah Kay image from 7KidsCollege colored w/copics and matted w/Kioshi Basic Gray. I used Flowers from Michael's and Zva pearls. I actually like the way this came out! ( that is so unusual) OK, I'm going to actually sit for the rest of the evening, but before I go, I would like mention something. I live alone, and although I am far from a recluse (I volunteer three days a week, have classes one) I have met some amazing people through the internet. Just a few I want to mention:

Rusty from Oozak once called me within 45 minutes of placing an order online, to ask if was all right for him to substitute something. Tab from 7KidsCollegeFund worked with me on a refund that was entirely MY FAULT. Susana from SCACD will always personalize her packages with a handwritten note and a small gift. Terri from Stamps Alive! manages to get packages from one coast to the other in no more than three days! She is a great person as well. Finally, I need to shout out to my FIRST follower..Marlene from Disguised as a Grownup  who tries to leave comments on her followers blogs (Ummmm, she has a THOUSAND followers!) She makes me laugh, laugh, laugh and I love her encouragement! Visit her!!!

Hi everyone! Just got through an awesome thunderstorm! YIKES! I cannot believe I'm actually getting comfortable with this blog~~bad, verrrry bad. The last time I got comfortable with something.....it divorced me, bwwwaaahhh! Moving right along, I am a subscriber to Cardmaking & Papercrafts, and every month they enclose some little gift~~last month it was these images, and I thought they were tooooo cute! Hey everyone, happy Monday! OK, disclaimer here, I'm retired, so I now loveeee Mondays! (& Tues. Wed. etc!) So speaking of challenges, this is my card for the June contest @  Ai  (Golden/Oldies) I am also entering this into: Crafty Catz (fancy fold), Paper Playtime (Z-fold), and Simon Says (metal) . I was trying to take the picture from above so you could see it is a Z-fold, but alas it did not work so just trust me on this. Here. I had hoped to enter it into their challenge, but they're looking for summer themes this week, AARRGGHH! I colored w/copics, and embellished w/MS glitter, & K & Co. Americana stickers~~I usually don't like stickers, but these were awesome. Thank you all for the nice encouragement on my five pound loss! It really is a lot on a 5' frame, so now all I have to do is ditch the other 15! Have a great weekend~~
Hmmmmm, actually, upon further encouragement and reflection, I AM going to enter this into Impression/Obsession, there is nothing more summery than the Fourth of July, right??? OK, a little stretch here!

Well, the weekend is here, hope everyone has great plans, or no plans at all! I just saw two movies, "Midnight in Paris" and "Mr Popper's Penquins" both pretty good. I'm not a Jim Carrey fan, but this was humorous! Staying in for the next few days, it has been ungodly HOT here (90-100°)
My card today is a Mo Manning image~~I've been on WW for a year now, but have only recently put my complete effort into it (lost 5 lbs.!) I sent this to my sister, hoping she will get on the bandwagon with me. Anyway, I am entering this into two challenges:

Wow, I cannot believe how much time I have had to craft this month~~I might get spoiled. Actually, June is the only month I do NOT have a birthday, anniversary, holiday (except for Father's Day!). With kids and grandkids, it is always something! OK, my card image is from TiddlyInks (digi) and I am taking a colored pencil class over @ Color Me Creative w/Marti,( CMC) so this was the end result. The only frustrating part was the picture corners, they just would not stay down, GRRRRRR! I bought a huge paper pad (8 1/2"x 11") called "Four Seasons" and I am just having a grand ole' time making the envies to match!
